Randy "Heavy La Hood" Holmes and Damian "DVS" Fields first started their music career together back in 2006. Two neighborhood friends from the Gary, In, Bronx, from different respected groups, came together to form The Ole Headz, and the independent label, Road Dawg Music (RDM). Fields and Holmes, along with producer Ron Talley and Room 10 Studios released the EP "What's Yo Image", in 2008 and in 2009 released the full length CD "What's Yo Image, 28 Grams Later". The Ole Headz are currently working in the studio recording on their sophomore release entitled, "Off Da Chain". They are currently promoting the new CD with performances of the new music at many different venues. Their philosophy is early promotion. Ole Headz fans can always keep a heads up on the group and the label through their website www.oleheadz.com. In 2009, The Ole Headz became the recipients of the G.E.M. (Gary Entertainment Music) Award for Best Duo. The group also appeared on the DJ Lefty-Two Guns "Midwest Monstas" Mixtape teaming up with label mates Original Menace. They also appeared on Real Recognize Real "Middle of the Map" Compilation and DVD. On the Cd "Off Da Chain", Ole Headz team up with other Gary, In artist, to showcase the talents that is soon to explode out of the Midwest.
