Saint-Da-Fied = Christian attitude forever
Challenging previous standards of what of how spirituality and metal intersect,
Saint-Da-Fied's progressive minded Christian metal act is both fully metal and fully faithful. Saint-Da-Fied raises the bar for music with tight, forward-thinking songwriting, impeccable performances and the kind of grooves fans of hard music require. It also challenges the listener to push ahead with spiritual pursuits, taking the faith side of life seriously and rooting it in daily practice and higher awareness. >
Identity
Both music and faith are about identity. Faith brings a person to a new place in his or her relationship with the world around. So does music. "It makes you feel like somebody, not just another person in a crowd," according to Saint-Da-Fied's Rev. Matthew-E. "It makes us feel like we have a calling on our lives." And it is in that convergence of the meaning of music and the meaning of faith where Saint-Da-Fied dwells.
Working Hard
And just as staying true to one's spiritual path requires hard work, so does music. Music is demanding. Resting on one's laurels accomplishes nothing. To achieve, one must do what one does with faith - put all of your heart and soul into it. And just as the members of Saint-Da-Fied are devoted to their chosen path of faith, so they choose to pour themselves into doing what they love on Earth - making great metal. "You have to work hard to get what you want, and once you work hard, you will reach your goals," says Rev.Matthew-E.
The Artist at Work
Saint-Da-Fied stays hard at it, bring the music and the message to listeners. "We just want to be real, not just make up stuff. We want people to understand what we are trying to say." The band is expanding its calling with a new CD entitled "The Truth," one which came from dedication in the studio. "We ask God to help us because we are nothing without his help and we go into the studio on a mission and ready to make the best CD we can." Its message is hope: "We want to give hope to the hopeless and show a world that is full of hate that there is a God who loves them no matter if they love him or not." Saint-Da-Fied is currently working with A&R Select, the world's leading independent artist development firm, based out of Los Angeles, CA.
