I received a call today informing me that my friend, Brian Connolly, had died last night in his sleep. I have know Brian for the last 14 years. We sang in several bands together, jamed till the wee hours of the morning. He was a brilliant sound engineer, a great singer, but most of all, a great friend. He sang on some of the backing vocals on Smokey Pete's Cafe. My friend, you will be sorely missed.
