Helen Sventitsky is more than just a hard name to pronounce. Oh no, there is much more to her than that. She is an alternative electronic artist. I know what you're thinking. Isn't alternative just another name for experimental, and experimental just another fake genre name from the music industry? Shows how much you know. First of all, alternative and experimental are not to be confused with each other. Secondly, the music industry would never lie to you. Helen's music takes the best of New Wave synth and mixes it with an international flair. Drum beats from Africa; Latin Rhythms; it's all there, brooding underneath the eerie synth pop coating. Then there are the lyrics. Mostly narratives in one way or another, the stories tell of simple people getting caught in surreal situations. Often confused, the characters look for comfort. Tis the story of our lives.

Album Release:

Helen is recording an EP this summer, creating even more of her haunting songs for the publics enjoyment. The EP is titled, Stories from the Road. She hopes to release the album in either August or September of 06. Her previous songs have already reached the top of the charts on numerous music websites. Helens music can be purchased at artistlaunch.com/Helens. Helen Sventitsky is currently working with A&R Select, an independent A&R firm based in Hollywood, California. A&R Select is representing the artists work for possible record deals; film, television and video game scores; and publishing deals.
