"Dana Gaynor is a lead/slide guitarist and entertainer par excellence. Her work is respected internationally and her musical style is a very contemporary synthesis of blues, rock, funk, jazz and psychedelic jam music. The Dana Gaynor Band hails from the Lehigh Valley PA. and is the brainchild of Ms. Gaynor. While she got her start learning from and working with some of the best players in the world of music, she is now finally stepping out on her own. Though the list of players she and the band have performed and recorded with is long and impressive, they feel the music and performance style of this group will speak for itself. While put together around Dana's original material and style of playing, each member of the band brings with them a verve and musical presence that transcends the music and creates a classic jam experience. Stylisticly the bands music is an eclectic fusion of blues, jazz, rock and funk in a psychedelic jam band format. Energetically the band is fun and exciting to watch.
