Los Angeles, CA – Rock act One Bad Habit has teamed up with A&R Select, the premier A&R firm based out of Los Angeles, the band recently announced. One Bad Habit’s self-titled debut has been making the rounds in the indie rock scene and A&R Select is putting the muscle of its publicity power behind the band and its CD to make sure word of the album spreads like wildfire.
Their song “Sunshine” beautifully showcases One Bad Habit’s creativity in writing, arranging and producing music. Distinctive recording techniques join hands with the band’s knack for pop music that crackles with energy and hooks.
With charming female vocals, lively melodies, warmth and charisma, One Bad Habit is rising to the fore, proving itself one of the top acts on Twin Dragon Records (“Where Female Fronted Rock Rules!”).
Harvey of One Bad Habit founded the project when he invited some friends to join him in making music. Having worked previously with Tom Ellis (bass) and Jeff Jones (guitar) and having attended school with Alice Templeton (vocals), within his sphere of acquaintances, he already had the makings of a successful band. Thus, One Bad Habit was created.
In orbit around this group of musicians are the other friends of One Bad Habit who contribute their talents to the band, making for a musical character that is constantly evolving yet which retains its core sound. The combination of personalities revels in the spark of creative synergy. “It inspires us to push the creative boundaries within each of us,” according to Harvey.
With One Bad Habit’s momentum building, the band is now looking to plan a tour to further expand its influence.
