Sounds like shavon is a solo Folk/Rock acoustic artist who has been singing performing and writing songs since here early years in Highschool. Full name Shavon Rose Baker, born in Oregon March 4th 1980, and raised in Beautiful inspiring Mt. Shasta California. Shavons passion for music was evident from a very young age, she has a drive and Realness that are unmatched, when she wants something she wastes no time in grabbing it. Music is her life, and soul, and she believes no money or amount of fame could ever replace the high of a good written song, and kick **** performance where you and your audience have an emotional connection.

In 2002 Shavon Recorded her first demo cd, in a small studio in Redding California (ortega studios) with John Ortega. The CD was titled Okay nevermind, and was just a learning experience for shavon, and a beginning pathway to musical and self discovery. Family life pulled shavon back from the music for a few years, but never a moment completely out of the game.
Since then she has made several demos on her own with the help of her Husband brian grass.
She has performed in churches, clubs, bars, and open mics, all over the county and also ventured into Scotland for some musical adventure, and has had the notice of few a overseas indie labels.

Currently Sounds like Shavon is working on what she feels is her best album yet, and is ready to take the industry by hurricane. She feels life has taught her many things these past years, and through the hardships, ups and downs the music has truly blossomed. For the first time ever shavon feels a complete connection with every song, and cant wait to get out there and get the music heard. Performing is a highlight for shavon, she is very connecting with her crowd and her bubbly spirit and personality is infectious! She feels each song, and every note to its core, and its very obvious to a watching audience.
